Shawn Khunkhun

Mr. Shawn Khunkhun has over 20 years of expertise in capital markets and mineral exploration, with a strong focus on creating shareholder value. Over his career, he has facilitated over $2 billion in capital raises, playing a transformative role in advancing exploration, development, and production companies. In his leadership roles as CEO, Director, and Executive Chairman, Mr. Khunkhun has been instrumental in elevating the profiles of undervalued companies and driving strategic growth.

Mr. Khunkhun’s success in incubating and scaling companies through capital raises, acquisitions, and spinouts is powered by an extensive network of high-net-worth investors, private equity, institutional investors, analysts, brokers, and bankers.

Mr. Khunkhun currently serves as a Director of Goldshore Resources and Gladiator Metals and as Director & Executive Chairman of Strike Point Gold. Additionally, he advises West Red Lake Gold Mines, Nations Royalty, and NexGold and is the Founder of Argenta Silver. 

Robert Van Egmond, P.Geo.

Rob van Egmond is a professional geologist with over 25 years of experience in the international mining industry. His career encompasses a wide spectrum of experiences ranging from grass roots project generation to pre-feasibility level resource development and mine geology. He has worked with major mining companies (Cominco, BHP, Kennecott) and junior explorers (Orex Minerals, Platinum Group Metals, Candente, Northern Dynasty, Keewatin) gaining experience in a wide variety of commodities and deposit types spanning locations North and South America as well as Africa. Included in his experience are several years of exploration and pre-development work in the Iskut River/Golden Triangle area with Cominco. Mr. van Egmond holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of British Columbia and is a registered professional geoscientist in good standing with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC).

Ann Fehr

Ms. Fehr CPA, CGA received her accounting designation in 1996 and has more than 25 years of business experience with management, complex transactions, corporate finance, financial reporting, governance, and regulatory compliance. She has held part-time officer positions for venture listed companies since 2009 and is the founder and president of Fehr & Associates, which provides consulting services to a number of mineral exploration company clients. Ms. Fehr and the accounting team at Fehr & Associates are joining the Dolly Varden team to assist with financial management, reporting, administration and corporate governance.

Robert McLeod

Technical Advisor Member of the Technical Committee

Mr. McLeod is a professional geoscientist with over 25 years of experience in mineral exploration and mining, working for a variety of major and junior mining and exploration companies. He was most recently president and CEO of IDM Mining Ltd., that recently combined with Ascot Resources Ltd. Born and raised in Stewart, B.C., he is a third-generation miner and explorer with significant exploration and development experience. Previously, he was a founder and vice-president of exploration of Underworld Resources that was acquired by Kinross Gold Corp. for $140-million after an initial resource estimate of over 1.4 million ounces gold at the White Gold deposit in the Yukon. He is a highly technical, creative and innovative exploration geologist with an ability to advance and monetize the full potential of projects to the advantage of shareholders. He is a graduate of geology from the University of British Columbia, with an MSc in mineral exploration from Queen’s University. He is an active volunteer in the mining industry, as vice-chair of AME-BC, and as a director of the Britannia Mine Museum.

Tim Clark

Tim Clark is CEO & Director of Fury Gold Mines Ltd. and brings 23 years of global capital markets experience with numerous US, European and Canadian banks, including Barclays Capital, National Bank Financial, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank and most recently BMO Capital Markets, where he held the role of Managing Director, Institutional Equity Sales. Over the years, he provided corporate strategy, peer and financial analysis and insights for corporations within the materials, commodities and mining sectors.

Michael Henrichsen

Michael Henrichsen is a structural geologist and leads the Fury Gold Mines Ltd. technical team as their SVP, Exploration. Previously, Mr. Henrichsen was the global structural geologist at Newmont, where his contributions significantly increased the reserves and resources base in the Ahafo district in Ghana. Mr. Henrichsen has also worked extensively at other major gold camps in South America, the Carlin Trend, Guinea and Canada.

Darren Devine

Chairman of the Board, Member of Nominating and Corporate Governance and Compensation Committees
Darren Devine is the principal of CDM Capital Partners, a firm that provides corporate finance advisory services to private and public companies. Mr. Devine also acts as a director and/or officer to a number of junior public companies in the natural resource and technology sectors, with completed transactions including the sale of Centric Energy Corp’s Eastern African assets to Africa Oil Corp.; and the recent reverse takeovers and listings of K92 Mining Inc.; TrackX Holdings Inc.; Bee Vectoring Technologies Inc.; and Slyce Inc. In addition, he is currently an active member of the TSX Venture Exchange’s Local Advisory Committee. Mr. Devine is qualified as a barrister and solicitor in British Columbia and in England & Wales and prior to founding CDM Capital Partners, practiced exclusively in the areas of corporate finance and securities law in Vancouver and London, England.

James Sabala

Prior to his retirement in May, 2016, Mr. Sabala was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hecla Mining Corporation, a silver, gold, lead and zinc mining company with operations throughout North America and Mexico. Mr. Sabala was appointed Chief Financial Officer in May 2008 and Senior Vice President in March 2008. Prior to his employment with Hecla Mining Company, Mr. Sabala was Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer of Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation from 2003 to February 2008. Mr. Sabala also served as Vice President-Chief Financial Officer of Stillwater Mining Company from 1998 to 2002. Mr. Sabala has served as a director of Arch Coal since February, 2015. Mr. Sabala graduated from the University of Idaho with a B.S. Business, Summa Cum Laude in 1978.

Jodie Gibson

Mr. Gibson, P.Geo. is an exploration geologist with over 14 years of mineral exploration experience throughout the North American cordillera from Alaska to Mexico, including syngenetic and epigenetic precious and base metal systems. He was the project manager of the Underworld Resources Inc. exploration team that discovered and defined the Golden Saddle and Arc deposits. These assets were subsequently sold to Kinross in 2010 for $139-million. Mr. Gibson was served as vice-president of exploration for White Gold Corp where he supervised over $30-million in exploration activities over the previous three years, with highlights including expansion of the Golden Saddle and Arc deposits and five new discoveries across the White Gold district, including the high-grade Vertigo discovery on the JP Ross property. Mr. Gibson holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a master of science degree from Indiana State University and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. Mr. Gibson is currently vice-president of exploration for K2 Gold, a Discovery Group Company.

Kurt Allen

Kurt Allen has over 25 years’ experience in the mineral exploration and mining industry, with emphasis on volcanic and sediment hosed epithermal gold-silver deposits. Kurt holds a B.Sc. in geology from Boise State University and a M.Sc. in geology from Idaho State University, and is currently the Director – New Projects for Hecla Mining Company. He has worked for Hecla since 1991 holding various positions, including Senior Mine Geologist, Chief Geologist, Manager of Exploration at Hecla’s Rosebud deposit and operation from 1995 – 2000, and District Geologist, Chief Geologist, Exploration Manager, and General Manager at Hecla’s San Sebastian deposit in Durango, Mexico from 2000 – 2010. While at San Sebastian, Kurt managed the exploration group responsible for the discovery of the high-grade Ag-Cu-Pb-Zn Hugh Zone. Prior to joining Hecla, Kurt also worked for CoCa Mines Inc. and Geodome Resources Limited.

Ivan Bebek

Mr. Ivan Bebek is Chairman of Fury Gold Mines Ltd. as an advisor to the Company.  Mr. Bebek has over 20 years of experience in financing, foreign negotiations and acquisitions in the mineral exploration industry. His understanding of the capital markets and ability to position, structure and finance companies that he has been associated with has been instrumental in their successes.

Ryan Weymark

Ryan Weymark, P. Eng. is a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) with experience in mining, heavy civil and infrastructure projects. Ryan has experience working on projects as a consultant, contractor and owner’s representative at various stages, including technical due-diligence, economic studies (pre-feasibility to feasibility), permitting (provincial and federal) and construction. Mr. Weymark is currently Principal of Weymark Consulting, providing project management and advisory services to the resource sector, including Teck Alaska Corporation, NexGen Energy Ltd., Coeur Mining Inc. and Imperial Metals Corp. Mr. Weymark was Vice President – Project Development for IDM Mining, until the acquisition by Ascot in March 2019. Prior to joining IDM Mining, Mr. Weymark was a Project Manager with Ledcor Contractors Ltd. in the Heavy Civil and Mining Division. Prior to Ledcor, Ryan worked for Teck Resources Ltd. in various project and operational roles, including Mine Construction Project Manager for the Line Creek Phase II Expansion Project and Project Engineer for the Quintette Coal Operations Project. Prior to Teck, Mr. Weymark worked for SNC-Lavalin Inc. in the Mining & Metallurgy Division on various feasibility and pre-feasibility studies. Mr. Weymark holds a B.A.Sc from the University of British Columbia in Mining and Mineral Processing and is a registered Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.
